Tips for Buying

Get involved! Before you splurge on a bunch of expensive armor, come to a team practice and find out if Buhurt is for you. Get a feel of what training is about, how different armor feels, and get involved in the community to make an informed decision on the type of armor you want to purchase.
Ask team members what type of gear they like. Most people are kind enough to let you try on different pieces of their own gear so you can learn what you like.

Buying gear is a time commitment - most armor is custom built just for you from smiths around the world. This means that you will be waiting for months before your armor arrives. So get the fire burning by showing up to practice, learning the ropes, and becoming part of the community.
